2021 Artistry's Annual Members' Juried Art Exhibition

Artistry's 45th Annual Members' Juried Art Exhibition runs October 1 – November 19, 2021, with an opening reception and awards ceremony on Friday, October 1, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. The exhibition is juried by Tricia Heuring, Public Functionary co-founder, who will judge 11 awards including a $600 Best of Show Award, $300 Excellence awards in 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional work, four $150 Merit awards, and four $50 Honorable Mentions.

Eligibility is open to all Artistry members, 18 years or older, who reside in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. Membership is required (a membership initiated after September 1, 2020 is considered valid). There is no entry fee to apply. Artists may submit one or two different original art pieces completed ideally within the last five years. All visual art media is accepted, including photography, except film or video. Maximum size for 2-D and 3-D work is 50" in any direction including the frame. Artwork must be dry, framed, and prepared for hanging upon delivery. Only one image per art piece is allowed for submission.

The application deadline is August 12, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Digital images must be in JPEG or JPG format, 1200 pixels or greater on the longest side, 72 ppi/dpi resolution, and under 5 MB. Notification of acceptance will be emailed by 5:00 p.m. Monday, September 6. Selected artwork must be delivered to Artistry on Saturday, September 25, between 9:00 – 11:30 a.m. The exhibition closes at 10:00 p.m. Friday, November 19, and artists must pick up work on Saturday, November 20 between 9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Artistry receives a 30% commission on all sales.
