About This Call
The 2020 Shoreline Arts Festival at Shoreline Community College has been moved online. The Juried Art Exhibit will be featured online starting June 8th, with People's Choice Award voting taking place on Saturday, June 27th and Sunday, June 28th. An awards ceremony will be live streamed at 6pm on Sunday, June 28th, 2020. Artwork will remain online through July 31st.
Entry fee is $10 per artwork (limit 3 entries per person per category). Submissions are accepted in three categories: 2-D Artwork (paintings, drawings, prints, collage, mixed media, etc.), 3-D Artwork (sculpture, glass, wood, clay, fiber, etc.), and Photography. All entries must be original, created within the last 3 years, and may not have been previously shown at the Shoreline Arts Festival. Artists may choose to have their work available for sale online, with a 20% commission collected on sales.
Total prizes of $850 will be awarded. Juror's Choice Awards include: 1st Place $200, 2nd Place $100, and 3rd Place $50 in both 2-D/3-D and Photography categories. People's Choice Awards are: 1st Place $75, 2nd Place $50, and 3rd Place $25. Jurors are Marsha Lippert (2-D/3-D Artwork) and Lauren Heerschap (Photography). The artist must assume liability for loss or damage, as artwork will not be insured. Commission checks for sold works will be issued by August 31, 2020.
