2020 National Fine Art Show

The Lincoln Gallery and Thompson Valley Art League invite U.S. artists to enter the 2020 National Fine Art Show. Open to all U.S. artists working in six categories: Oil, Mixed Media & Acrylic, Pastel & Drawing, Watercolor, 3D & Sculpture, and Photography & PhotoArtistry (digitally altered/modified photography). All entries must be for sale. The exhibition runs September 4 - October 2, with the Artists' Reception and Awards presentation on Friday, September 11 from 6:00-8:30 p.m. The nationally acclaimed Governor's Art Show will overlap the tail end of the National Fine Art Show.

Juror Suzanne Faris, Chairperson of the Department of Art and Art History at Colorado State University, will select artwork for inclusion in the exhibition and select award-winning pieces. Cash awards will be presented for Best of Show, 1st Place in each category, and People's Choice Award. Honorable Mention recognition will also be announced. The Lincoln Gallery will stream the reception and awards ceremony online, allowing viewers throughout the country to view accepted artwork and the artist's reception.

Entry fee is $45 (includes up to 3 entries); additional entries are $10 each for a maximum of 6 total entries. Submit 3-6 images online through CaFE by midnight July 26, 2020. Work must be original art completed within the last 3 years (2017 or later) and not previously accepted to Lincoln Gallery or Thompson Valley Art League juried shows. Artists will be notified by email of juror decisions by August 12. Hand delivery accepted August 25-27; shipped work received August 21-27. All work must match juried images; no substitutions allowed. Flat work (including frame) shall not exceed 75 inches linear measurement and must be wired for hanging, weighing no more than 25 lbs. Three-dimensional art must not exceed 36 inches in any dimension and weigh no more than 50 pounds. The Lincoln Gallery collects a 35% commission on all sales. Payment for sold items will be mailed on the 20th of the month following the show close. Unsold work pickup is October 3-4 between 12:00-5:00 p.m., or will be shipped by October 7.
