About This Call
Las Laguna Gallery is seeking art that explores the range of tones of a single color. The exhibition theme is monochrome, which may include black and white, grayscale, or other combinations containing only tones of a single color, such as green-and-white, green-and-black, sepia, or cyanotype images.
All local, national, and international artists (professional and amateur) working in all mediums are eligible. Accepted mediums include acrylic, airbrush, assemblage, charcoal, color pencil, collage, digital art, drawings, encaustic, fiber arts, graphite, illustration, mixed media, new media, oil, painting, pastel, photography (traditional and digital), printmaking, and watercolor. While there is no size limitation, works over 60 inches are not recommended due to shipping costs.
Entry fee is $35.00, with an additional $2.00 media fee for each image beyond the first. Submit 1-20 images. Artist notification is March 15, 2020. Art delivery dates are March 26-29, 2020. The exhibition runs April 2-28, 2020. Gallery split is 65% artist, 35% gallery.
