2020 Members Juried Exhibition

The Tubac Center of the Arts invites members to submit work for the Members' Juried Exhibition. All media is accepted. Work must have been completed within the last 24 months and cannot have been previously displayed at TCA. All work must be the original creation of the artist. Giclee reproductions are not permitted. Members may enter up to three 2D or 3D artworks. The entry fee is $30 for the first entry and $3 for each additional entry.

The exhibition runs from November 20, 2020 through January 10, 2021. The juror is Catherine Nash, a Tucson-based artist specializing in Japanese and Western hand papermaking, encaustic painting, and mixed media. Awards will be presented at the opening reception on November 20, 2020. Awards include: Best of Show ($300), Award of Excellence ($200), Virginia Hall Contemporary Award ($100), Ursula Suess Abstract Award ($100), Award of Merit ($100), and two Honorable Mention awards ($50 each). The Best of Show winner will receive a solo show in the Studio Gallery from February 26 – April 4, 2021.

Artists are responsible for shipping artwork to and from TCA. All work must arrive ready to professionally display or hang. If framed, work must be suitably matted in white, black, or neutral colors, simply framed, and firmly wired with no sawtooth hangers. All work must be for sale, and TCA will retain a 40% commission. Unsold work will be shipped back to the artist after the exhibition closes. Artists must provide a prepaid barcoded shipping label for return of their artwork. Art not picked up after 3 months will become the property of Tubac Center of the Arts and may be auctioned or sold with proceeds benefiting TCA.
