2020 Louisville Art Association National Juried Photography Show and Sale

The 2020 Louisville Art Association National Juried Photography Show and Sale, sponsored by Mike's Camera, takes place in Louisville, Colorado at the Louisville Center for the Arts, a historic Victorian turn-of-the-century red brick schoolhouse. The show features seven photography categories: Digital Manipulation, Alternative Process/Manipulation, People, Animal & Wildlife, Nature Created, Human Made, and Still Life and Abstracts. Both black and white and color images are accepted in most categories.

At least $4,200 in cash and prizes will be awarded, including Best in Show, First Place in each category, Honorable Mention awards, and the People's Choice award. The judge is Jesse McLaughlin, a Master Photographer and Certified Professional Photographer. Entry fees are $40 for the first three images and $10 for each additional image, with a limit of 6 entries per person. Digital entries only in .jpg or .jpeg format, minimum 1200 pixels along the longest edge, file size less than 5 megabytes, SRGB color space. Framed work size limit is 48 inches on the longest side. All work must be original and executed professionally; work shown in previous LAA National shows will not be accepted.

Entry deadline is June 7, 2020. Notification of acceptance is June 18, 2020. Delivery of shipped artwork deadline is September 2, 2020. Hand delivery of artwork is September 7, 2020 from 5-7 PM. The show runs September 8-13, 2020, with an awards reception on September 12, 2020 from 6-9 PM. A 25% commission is charged on all work sold. Entry fees are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled.
