2020 LA Open Exhibition

TAG Gallery announces the 3rd annual LA Open Exhibition for 2020, a juried exhibition for artists in the greater Los Angeles area to display their artworks on Museum Row. The exhibition is open to all artists 18 years and older working in Computer Art, Mixed Media, Painting, Printmaking, Photography, Drawing, Video, Sculpture, and Fiber Works. Students and artists in all stages of their career are encouraged to apply. Entries are limited to a maximum of six works completed since 2014 and not previously shown at TAG Gallery. TAG artists are not eligible.

Awards include First Place $500, Second Place $250, Third Place $100, and three Honorable Mentions. The juror is Juri Koll, who presents exhibits through the Venice Institute of Contemporary Art and has worked with major institutions including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, The National Gallery in Washington, D.C., the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and the Museum of Modern Art in San Francisco.

Accepted work will be exhibited at TAG Gallery from December 17, 2019 through January 17, 2020. All work must be original, unsold, and available for sale. Hanging works are limited to 60" height and 40" width including frame and may not exceed 30 lbs. Sculptures are limited to 48" height x 20" depth and may not exceed 40 lbs. Video works may not exceed 10 minutes in length. No artwork requiring special installation or assembly will be accepted. Hand delivery only is required on December 13-14, 12:00-5:00 PM. TAG Gallery retains a 50% commission on sales during the exhibition and 30 days after. Entry fee is $25 for the first three entries, with additional entries at $5 each (maximum six entries). Results will be emailed after December 7, 2019.
