2020 LA Artcore 4th Annual Photographic Competition and Exhibit

LA Artcore announces its 4th Annual Online Photographic Competition and Exhibition. The March 2020 exhibit celebrates LA Artcore's 41 years of supporting contemporary art and developing the careers of visual artists of diverse cultural backgrounds. This competition seeks outstanding photography completed in the last two years.

45 juror-selected images will be exhibited at LA Artcore's historic downtown Los Angeles gallery in the Brewery Arts Colony, one of the oldest and largest live-work spaces in the world. Photographers of all levels over the age of 18 residing in North America are eligible. All still photographic media and subject matter are eligible. Work must have been completed on or after January 1, 2018, and not previously entered in this competition. LA Artcore staff and board members are not eligible. Up to twenty wall-mounted works not exceeding 48" in width, 60" height, 24" in depth and 20 lbs. in weight may be submitted. No video or audio submissions are accepted.

Entry fee is $35.00 for 3 entries, with additional entries at $10.00 each up to 10 entries total. Awards determined by the jury panel are: $500 (1st Place), $250 (2nd Place), $100 (3rd Place), and two Honorable Mentions. Artists will be notified of results by February 8, 2020. Art delivery period is February 9-23, 2020, between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. in person or via UPS/FedEx. Artists are responsible for round-trip shipping and insurance. LA Artcore will retain 35% of all sales; artwork selected for exhibition must be available for sale.
