2020 International Society of Acrylic Painters Online International Open Exhibition

The 11th Annual International Society of Acrylic Painters Online International Open Show accepts digital entries from international artists. Up to two paintings per artist may be entered. The entry fee is $35 for up to two entries, payable through PayPal. Submitted digital images must be no smaller than 1920 pixels on the longest side, in JPEG format only, at 72 ppi/dpi resolution, with a maximum file size of 5 MB.

Dean L. Mitchell will serve as juror for both show acceptance and awards. The show timeline includes entries opening March 1, 2020, with the deadline on May 31, 2020. Jurying occurs June 1-10, 2020, with acceptance notifications by June 10 and posting of the show and awards on the ISAP website by June 17. Cash awards include Best of Show ($1,000), First Place ($800), Second Place ($650), Third Place ($300), Fourth Place ($200), Fifth Place ($100), and four Honorable Mentions ($50 each). Additional donor awards are available, including the ISEA Experimental Art Award ($500), Holbein Materials Award (USA only, $512 value), Artwork Archive Lifetime Membership ($1,200 value), and various other material and supply awards.

Work must conform to the concept of being 80% acrylic on any surface. Entries cannot have been previously accepted in any other ISAP show. Images can already be sold, though artists are encouraged to price their work. Work completed in workshops or classes by instructors is not eligible. Inappropriate subject matter may result in non-acceptance. All results are final, and no refunds are provided.
