2020 Holiday Shop

The BBAC Holiday Shop is a juried show and annual tradition for nearly four decades. The event features Shop & Champagne, a preview party with sparkling beverages, gourmet strolling supper, and shopping for 400 enthusiasts, followed by public shopping December 3-21 with free admission. Artwork is displayed attractively and the Holiday Shop attracts hundreds of shoppers.

The gallery seeks fine art and craft in all media suitable for the holiday market: 2-D media, ceramics, jewelry, glass, fiber, leather, metal, wood, and holiday-themed items including decorations, ornaments, and greeting cards. All work must be original and handmade by the artist. Commercially manufactured components, commercial patterns, molds, commercial beads (except findings), assembly of pre-made holiday crafts, and purchased kits will not be accepted. Artists are juried on their body of work and artwork is accepted on a consignment basis. Notification of jury results is Friday, October 2, 2020.

Historically, items priced between $3.00 and $650.00 sell best, especially items under $100.00. Work above $650 may be accepted but artists may be asked not to bring specific work or quantities. All wall art must have proper hanging mechanism—wire (ends wrapped) or D rings; no sawtooth hangers. Accepted work must be ready to display. The BBAC retains 45% commission on all sales. Proceeds support the BBAC's education and ArtAccess programs. Entry fee is $15.00 and requires submission of 3-4 images.
