2020 Evendale Fine Art Exhibit

This exhibit is open to artists 21 and older living or working within a 50-mile radius of Evendale, OH. All fine art disciplines are encouraged, including paintings (oils, acrylic, watercolor, and pastels), sketches, etchings, and sculptures. Photography, manipulated photography, digital media, painted giclee prints, and reproductions are not permitted. All artwork must be original and created from conception to completion by the artist. Work copied from other artists' work, published photos, or photos taken by someone other than the artist will not be accepted. As the exhibit is held in a family recreation center, artwork will be evaluated for appropriateness.

A maximum of five pieces can be submitted, with up to three accepted per artist. Entry fees are $20 for the first piece and $5 for each additional piece if submitted by the Early Bird deadline of March 1, 2020. After March 1, fees are $30 for the first piece and $10 for each additional piece. The final deadline is March 8, 2020. Evendale residents who complete submission by the Early Bird deadline are free of charge and must email [email protected] for a coupon code. Digital images must be submitted via CallforEntry.org. Accepted artwork must be hand-delivered to the Evendale Recreation Center during scheduled times in late April.

Accepted artwork must be appropriately framed or museum-wrapped canvas and wired for hanging. Work must weigh less than 20 pounds and measure no larger than 36 x 36 inches without special approval. Watercolor and pastels must be framed with plexiglass; any work larger than 12 x 16 inches must be framed with plexiglass. Labels with artist name, title, medium, price, and email address must be securely attached to the back or bottom. The exhibition runs May 1-4, 2020. Awards include Best in Show ($500 and a one-person show), 2nd Place ($350), 3rd Place ($200), and three Honorable Mention awards ($50 each). The ECAC takes a 10% processing fee for credit card sales; no commission is taken on direct payments to the artist.
