2020 Emerging Vision, CPAC Biennial Student Show

The Colorado Photographic Arts Center invites submissions for the 2020 Emerging Vision, CPAC Biennial Student Show. This exhibition is open to regional and national artists who are current undergraduate or graduate students enrolled at a post-secondary institution and not graduating before the end of the academic year 2020-2021. All lens-based media are eligible, including images made by film or video camera, scanner, screen-capture, digital camera, and any means of mobile photography.

Submission deadline is Sunday, September 20, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Entry fee is $10 for 3 images, with an early bird discount of $5 for 3 images available until September 4th (code: EARLYBIRD). Additional images are $3 each. Applicants must submit 3-10 images and may include 0-3 videos. A copy of your current student schedule or student ID must be uploaded with your entry or emailed to [email protected]. Exhibition juror is Nate Larson, Chair of Photography at MICA/Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore.

Application notifications will be sent October 16, 2020. The exhibition runs November 27, 2020 - January 2, 2021, with an opening reception on Friday, December 4, 2020 from 5-8pm. Artwork must be received no later than Friday, November 13th. Exhibition print sizes must be specified with no size limit; work will be hung with magnets. CPAC will charge a 40% sales commission.
