2020 CVG Show

Collective Visions Gallery announces the Thirteenth Annual CVG Show, a juried art competition for Photo/Digital, Two-Dimensional and Three-Dimensional art. All Washington State artists are invited to submit work. Up to $10,000 in cash and purchase prizes will be awarded to winners in several categories.

Eligibility: All artists must be 18 years of age or older and be a resident of Washington State. Entries must be original, entirely the work of the entrant, and executed within the past three years (since 1/1/2016). Work must have been done without the supervision of an instructor. Copies of existing artworks or works solely based on copyrighted artworks are not eligible. A maximum of three entries per artist is permitted; artists may enter more than one category. Entry fee is $45.00 for one to three artworks. All work must be gallery-ready for display and must be for sale. Collective Visions Gallery will retain a 33% commission on all sales.

Work specifications: Two-dimensional work may not exceed 8 feet in longest dimension or weigh more than 75 lbs. All 2D works on paper must be under glass or Plexiglas. Any 3D work must fit within a 4 x 4 x 9 foot space and weigh less than 400 lbs. All entries will be juried from digital images; awards will be judged from original works of art. Hand deliveries accepted January 11-12, 2020 (1-5 pm). Shipped work accepted December 27, 2019 – January 12, 2020. Notifications to artists on or before December 20, 2019. Exhibition opens January 18, 2020 with reception and awards ceremony. Exhibition closes February 29, 2020. Artwork pickup March 1, 2020 (1-5 pm). A $25 late fee applies for work not picked up on March 1. Artists are responsible for insuring their own work and shipping charges in both directions.
