2020 Colorado Photographic Arts Center Annual Members Show

The Colorado Photographic Arts Center announces its annual juried members' photography exhibition. This year's juror is Ann M. Jastrab, Executive Director at the Center for Photographic Art (CPA). The exhibition will be a survey of new work made by CPAC members, intended to highlight the creative talents of CPAC's constituency. There is no theme. The show is open to current, registered members of the organization only.

All lens-based media are eligible, including images made by film or video camera, scanner, screen-capture, digital camera, and any means of mobile photography. Entry is open to regional, national, and international members of CPAC. Applicants must submit 3-10 images and may submit up to 3 videos. First three images are free for current members; $5 for each additional image. If you are not a member, the entry fee is $45 and you will receive a free CPAC membership at the Individual level (1-year). Exhibition print sizes must be specified. The gallery understands that work may be presented in a non-traditional way that is integral to the art; please contact the organization in advance if your work fits into these criteria.

Awards include Best in Show Purchase Award ($300, with the selected image becoming part of CPAC's permanent collection), Director's Choice ($100), and Honorable Mention Awards. All awardees will receive a printed copy of the exhibition catalog. Application deadline: Sunday, April 12, 2020 (midnight MDT). Application notifications will be sent Friday, May 8, 2020. Accepted work must be delivered to the gallery by Friday, June 26, 2020. Exhibition dates: July 3 – August 8, 2020. Opening Reception & Award ceremony with juror: Saturday, July 11, 2020, 5-8pm.
