2020 College Invitational Exhibition

The Indianapolis Art Center is calling for entries for the 2020 College Invitational Exhibition, a national juried exhibition for currently enrolled college students pursuing an Associate's, Bachelor's, or Master's Degree in any field of fine art and/or craft. The exhibition is open to undergraduate or graduate students 18 and older currently enrolled in any college or university in the United States. All work must be original and made by the artist within the last two years, and cannot have been previously shown at the Art Center. All media are eligible; installation artists should contact the Art Center before applying to ensure space compatibility. 2D artwork must not weigh more than 250 pounds or exceed 10' x 10'.

Entry fee is $25 for submission of two pieces, with an additional $5 per additional artwork. Cash awards total $2,500.00: Best in Show ($1,500), Best in 2D including video ($500), and Best in 3D including installation ($500). Awards will be announced at the Opening Reception on Friday, April 17, 2020 at 6-9 p.m. Accepted work must remain on display until June 10, 2020. All work must arrive by Thursday, April 9, 2020; artists are responsible for shipping costs and insurance in transit. Work must be shipped in a reusable container with return shipping paid by the artist. Hand-delivered work may be dropped off Monday, March 23 through Thursday, April 9, 2020. All work may be offered for sale; the Art Center retains a 35% commission on sales. The Art Center will insure the exhibition while on view. Notifications will be sent via email on Friday, February 7, 2020.
