2020 - Botanical

Las Laguna Gallery presents 2020 Botanical, an exhibition seeking works that explore plants, flowers, herbs, trees, leaves, cactus, succulents, and related botanical subjects. All local, national, and international artists—professional and amateur—are welcome to submit. Accepted mediums include acrylic, airbrush, assemblage, charcoal, color pencil, collage, digital art, drawings, encaustic, fiber art, graphite, illustration, mixed media, new media, oil, painting, pastel, photography (traditional and digital), printmaking, and watercolor. Works must not exceed 60 inches. Jewelry, sculpture, and video are not accepted at this time.

Entry fee is $31.00, with an additional $2.00 media fee per image. Submissions must include 1-20 images. The application deadline is September 12, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Artists will be notified on September 17, 2020. Art delivery dates are September 24-29, 2020, with the exhibition running October 1-31, 2020.

All submitted artists will have at least one work posted on the gallery's website and promoted on Facebook, Instagram, and other social media. A select number of artists will have their work displayed in the gallery's in-person exhibition. The gallery operates on a 65% artist, 35% gallery sales split.
