About This Call
The Dexter Art Gardens is an annual outdoor sculpture exhibition sponsored by the Dexter Arts, Culture & Heritage Committee and the City of Dexter, Michigan. Three temporary outdoor sculptures will be juried and placed on display alongside the City's permanent collection for one year, from June 2020 to May 2021. The selected pieces will be installed on concrete pads in highly trafficked locations in historic Dexter, Michigan.
Artists may submit up to three sculptures for consideration. Entries must be free-standing and durable for year-round outdoor display, and pieces must be able to be secured to a concrete pad. Work sample requirements: submit 1-20 images. Each selected artist will receive a $900 stipend following installation. Eligibility is open to artists nationally.
