2019 Spring/Summer Exhibitions & Opportunity | Dab Art, Greater Los Angeles

Dab Art will review proposals for 2019 exhibitions at H Gallery. Artists chosen for these group exhibitions will be further evaluated and considered for roster selections. Early applications are encouraged as exhibition considerations will be made prior to the deadlines. Entries submitted on or before March 31, 2019 are for Spring & Summer 2019 consideration. Entries are reviewed weekly.

Accepted artwork may include painting, printmaking, sculpture, glass, fiber, functional, digital, photography, installation, mixed media, and new genres. Proposals may include multiple disciplines. All work must be original, unsold work, and the artist must own the sole copyright. Frames, mats, and wiring must be professional quality and in good condition. No saw-tooth hangers. 2D artwork selected for exhibition must be ready to hang; unframed or improperly mounted work will not be accepted. Exhibition lengths will vary from 8 to 10 weeks. Featured artists are invited and encouraged to personally attend receptions. A selected few will be invited for a recorded artist interview and/or panel discussion about their exhibit.

Entry fee is $35.00, with an optional $5.00 media fee for additional images (minimum 3, maximum 20 images required). An optional 15-minute phone consultation is available for $50.00. Artists are responsible for round-trip shipping and insurance of artworks. All shipments must include a prepaid UPS or FED EX return label and be shipped in a container suitable for reuse. No packing peanuts are permitted. Dab Art retains a 40% commission on all exhibition sales in gallery and online. Payment to artists will be provided within 60 days after the exhibit concludes and receipt of full payment from the buyer. Notifications are sent via email. For more information, visit www.dabart.me.
