2019 Roslyn Art Festival - "Memories" Juried Art Show

The 2019 Roslyn Art Festival Juried Art Show invites submissions of art including photographs, paintings, drawings, collages, fabric art, lithographs and other wall-hangable art. The theme is "Memories." Art may take a literal, abstract, or imaginary approach to the theme. Maximum size is 18" X 24" excluding frame. Submissions must be made through CallForEntry.org with a $10 entry fee per submission. The deadline for submissions is July 1, 2019.

Awards will be given for First, Second, and Third Places, People's Choice, and special awards. Jurors are nationally known artists with art show judging experience, and cash awards are given. Juried art will be displayed from August 3 through September 2 at the Roslyn Creative Center in Roslyn, Washington. Works sold while displayed will be charged a 40% commission. All items will be available for sale.

The festival begins Saturday, August 3 with an artists' reception from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. at the Roslyn Creative Center, featuring music, hors d'oeuvres, beverages, and an Art Bag Wine Grab raffle. Additional festival activities include a Friday night street dance and Artists-at-Work exhibitions and Try-It Art stations throughout downtown Roslyn. The festival runs through September 2. Artists will be notified of acceptance by email on July 6-7, with art delivery by mail from July 8-28. Show take-down is September 3, with artist pickup scheduled for September 7/8 or September 14/15, or art will be mailed to artists or purchasers September 7-10.
