2019 Open Theme Annual

Webster Arts invites art submissions for the 2019 Open Theme Annual, a national juried exhibition. The exhibition will be held March 18-April 30, 2019, with an opening reception on Tuesday, March 19 from 6-8 p.m. All 2D and 3D media are welcome. No floor or ceiling hung installations or video are permitted.

Eligibility is open to artists age 18 and older residing in the US or abroad. The entry fee is $35 for up to three entries. Submit up to three JPEG digital images (no larger than 1920 pixels on the longest side, 72 ppi/dpi resolution, 5 MB maximum file size). Wall pieces must be wired for hanging and no larger than 48" X 48". Free-standing pieces may not exceed 32" X 32" X 60" or weigh more than 50 lbs. All work must be original and cannot have been previously exhibited at Webster Arts. Photographs printed on canvas are not allowed without prior permission.

An independent juror will select work for inclusion and cash prizes. Artists may be selected for solo or 2-3 person shows in the future. Submission deadline is February 12, 2019. All artists will be notified by email by February 25, 2019. Artwork delivery is March 4-7, 2019 during office hours, or shipped by March 8, 2019. Artists are responsible for shipping costs and must include return postage. Webster Arts receives a 30% commission on all exhibition sales.
