2019 Holiday Shop

The BBAC Holiday Shop is a juried show that has been an annual tradition for nearly four decades. The event features Shop & Champagne, a preview party with sparkling beverages, gourmet strolling supper, and shopping for 400 enthusiasts, followed by the public Holiday Shop from December 5-20 with free admission. Artwork is displayed attractively and the shop attracts hundreds of shoppers.

The BBAC seeks fine art and craft in all media suitable for the holiday market, including 2-D media, ceramics, jewelry, glass, fiber, leather, metal, wood, and holiday-themed items such as decorations, ornaments, and greeting cards. All work must be original and handmade by the artist. Commercially manufactured components, commercial patterns, molds, commercial beads (except findings), assembly of pre-made holiday crafts, and purchased kits will not be accepted. Artists are juried on their body of work and artwork is accepted on a consignment basis.

Historically, items priced between $3.00 and $650.00 sell best, especially items under $100.00. Work above $650 may be accepted but the artist may be asked not to bring specific work or quantities. Accepted work must be ready to display with proper hanging mechanisms for wall art (wire with wrapped ends or D rings; no sawtooth hangers). The BBAC retains 45% commission on all sales. Entry fee is $15.00. Submit 3-4 images of your work. Proceeds support the BBAC's education and ArtAccess programs.
