2019 FWS Non-Signature Member Online Show

This is an online exhibition for Non-Signature Florida Watercolor Society Members who did not win an award in the 47th Annual 2018 Exhibition, and new FWS Members with Florida residency who join or renew by November 26, 2018.

Eligible artwork must be created in approved water-soluble media (no water-soluble oil products, charcoal, or pastels) on surfaces designed for watermedia, including paper, clay coated surfaces (Clayboard, Aquabord), synthetic surfaces (Yupo, Tygerag, Terraskin), illustration board, and flat, unstretched watercolor canvas. Source material must be original by the submitting artist and not derived from published images. All entries must have been completed after January 1, 2016, and not previously shown in any FWS Annual or Online Exhibitions. Collage is acceptable if made from paper painted by the artist in water media. Photographs, reproductions, digital media, and digitally created work are not permitted.

Submit up to three images for jurying online via CaFE. Entry fee is $15 per image, payable online through CaFE (Mastercard or Visa only). The judge will select up to 100 images to show, with no more than one entry per artist accepted. Awards include $1,000 for First Place, $500 for Second Place, $300 for Third Place, and three Merit Awards of $100 each. Submitting artists will be notified of acceptance via email around the end of the year. The full Membership will receive notification around January 15, 2019 that the Online Show may be viewed on the FWS website. Online Show Award Winners will have the opportunity to show their original work in the FWS Booth at the 48th Annual Convention & Trade Show in Orlando, FL in September 2019.
