2019 Fall/Winter Exhibition & Roster Opportunity | Greater Los Angeles

Dab Art will review proposals for 2019/2020 Fall and Winter exhibitions at H Gallery (Ventura) and Dab Art Gallery (Downtown Los Angeles). Artists chosen for these group exhibitions will be further evaluated and considered for roster selections. Early applications are encouraged as exhibition considerations will be made prior to the deadlines. Exhibition lengths will vary from 6 to 10 weeks. Featured artists are invited and encouraged to personally attend receptions. A selected few will be invited for a recorded artist interview and/or panel discussion about their exhibit.

Accepted artwork includes painting, printmaking, sculpture, glass, fiber, functional, digital, photography, installation, mixed media, and new genres. Proposals may include multiple disciplines. All work must be original, unsold work, and the artist must own the sole copyright. Frames, mats, and wiring must be professional quality and in good condition. No saw-tooth hangers. 2D artwork selected for exhibition must be ready to hang. Unframed or improperly mounted work will not be accepted. The number of pieces varies depending on the artist's medium, sizes, shapes, and available wall space.

Entry fee is $35.00, with an optional $5.00 media fee for additional images (minimum 3, maximum 20 images required). An optional 15-minute phone consultation is available for $50.00. Artists are responsible for round-trip shipping and insurance of artworks. All shipments must include a prepaid UPS or FedEx return label and be shipped in a container suitable for reuse. Work sent through USPS must include a shipping label; USPS stamps will not be accepted. No packing peanuts are permitted. Dab Art retains a 40% commission on all exhibition sales in gallery and online from artists selected for exhibition in 2019 (50% commission for artists selected beginning in 2020). Payment to artists will be provided within 60 days after the exhibit concludes and receipt of full payment from the buyer.
