2019 Arvada Center Arts & Ales Festival

Arvada Center for Arts & Humanities is accepting artist applications for the 2019 Arts & Ales Festival, an outdoor festival on the grounds of the Arvada Center featuring Colorado craft beer, music, food trucks, family fun, and art. The festival takes place August 24, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Arvada Center for Arts & Humanities, 6901 Wadsworth Blvd., Arvada, CO 80003. Art and beer booths will flow around the grassy areas as well as inside the Arvada Center.

Artists from a variety of media are encouraged to apply. The application deadline is June 10, 2019. All applicants pay a $28 jury fee. Booths are up to 10x10 in size and cost $150. No electricity is available. The booth fee should be paid by check and mailed in once accepted to the festival. For information on double booths, email [email protected]. Work samples should include 3-6 images.

All work must be handcrafted by the artist. Reproductions are allowed but must be of the artist's original work and of the quality that the jury has accepted. All artists are selected by a jury based on quality, originality, booth display, and the number of artists within mediums. You must submit a description and/or photo of your booth. Eligible categories include Ceramics, Drawing, Fiber, Glass, Graphics and Printmaking, Jewelry, Metalworks, Mixed Media, Painting, Paper, Photography, Sculpture, Wearable Art, Wood, and Other. Submissions that are juried and accepted will be inspected at the festival for compliance.
