2019 ART214 Juried Exhibition

The City of Dallas Office of Cultural Affairs announces a call for entries for the 2nd annual ART214 juried exhibition, which will be presented during Dallas Arts Month in 2019. Five OCA facilities—the Bath House Cultural Center, the Latino Cultural Center, the Oak Cliff Cultural Center, and the South Dallas Cultural Center—are collaborating to organize a multi-venue juried exhibition that will showcase the works of artists who live in Dallas and the Greater North Texas region.

ART214 is a five-section collaborative exhibition that gives citizens of Dallas an opportunity to discover and enjoy the work of talented local and regional visual artists. Each partnering cultural center brings its own audiences, artists, communities, and history. By scheduling connected dates to display a different section of the show at each center, the ART214 exhibition creates a unique opportunity for the public to visit all the centers during Dallas Arts Month and promotes collaboration and cross-pollination of artists and audiences.

Eligibility is limited to local artists. Applicants must submit 1-2 images as work samples. Entry deadline is February 1, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. MST.
