2018 Wood River Valley Studio Tour

Working artists are invited to participate in the Wood River Valley Studio Tour. Participating artists commit to opening their studios during the tour dates and hours to welcome art patrons, admirers, and collectors on self-guided tours. Qualifying applicants must maintain or share a working art studio located within the Wood River Valley, Idaho. Accepted artists are expected to have completed a body of work representing a cohesive, visual art form with professional execution. Visual arts include ceramics, drawing, painting, sculpture, textile, printmaking, photography, video, and filmmaking.

The entry fee is $250 when completed between April 25th and 30th. All registration fees are non-refundable. Artists must submit 5 images as work samples. Artists are required to donate a piece of artwork for inclusion in the Mosaic Project. Each artist will be provided an 8x8" panel upon which an original work may be created and incorporated into a mosaic installation. Artists will provide a retail price for each piece. Completed Mosaic artwork must be delivered by or before July 10th. The Mosaic Project will be publicly displayed during the week of the Tour. Viewers will be invited to purchase panels, and all sales from donated panels will benefit Wood River Valley Studio Tour, Inc. Unsold panels will remain the property of Wood River Valley Studio Tour, Inc. for sale at a later date.

Each artist will be invited to display one work of art in the Group Exhibition during the week of the Tour. Artists are responsible for delivery and pick-up of artwork. Space limitations will dictate allowable dimensions for inclusion in the exhibition. Wood River Valley Studio Tour, Inc. receives no commission or percentage of studio sales. Artists are encouraged to contact WRV Studio Tour, Inc. with any questions regarding the suitability of their art form for inclusion in the tour.
