Entrants must be TWSA members in good standing with 2018 dues paid, residents of North America, and 18 years or older. Life members enter free with coupon code TWSA4Life. Prepaid members should use coupon code 40offTWSA to enter for the membership fee only ($50 for one image, $5 additional for a second image). New and renewing members without prepaid dues can enter one image for $50 or two images for $55, automatically becoming TWSA members.

Work must be applied transparently on single-sheet 100% rag or cotton paper, free of pigment and embedded materials. Pencil marks are permitted only for planning. Framed size cannot exceed 50 inches in either direction, with a minimum mat opening of 8x10 inches. Unacceptable entries include white paint, gesso, acrylic, gouache, ink, pastel, metallic or iridescent paint, collage, surface constructions, embossing, varnishing, non-approved papers, digital images or enhancements, and work created before January 1, 2016. Entries are limited to a minimum of 1 image and maximum of 2 images.
Jurors are John Salminen (TWSA DM, AWS, NWS) and Soon Y Warren (TWSA, AWS, NWS). Notifications will be announced the first week of March. Paintings are due at Kenosha Public Museum April 14-21. The exhibition opens May 5 and closes August 5, with paintings returned the week of August 6. A private reception is scheduled for June 8, and the Awards Dinner is June 9. Workshops and free juror/instructor demonstrations will be held June 4-8 and 11-15. A 30% commission is charged by the Kenosha Public Museum for paintings sold.
