2018 Summer/Fall Residencies at Brush Creek Foundation for the Arts

The artist residency program at Brush Creek Foundation for the Arts offers two sessions per year with three-week programs. The Summer/Fall session runs from June through November with an application deadline of March 1. A jury will rank residents based on work samples provided with the application.

Visual artists (including drawing, painting, printmaking, photography, installation, new media, and video) should provide 10-20 images or a short video. Language arts applicants (fiction, non-fiction, poetry, screenplay or script writing, and scientific writing) may include no more than 20 pages of material. Musicians and composers should provide two scores and two music files for listening. Do not include your name or website on any work samples; label with titles only.

Selected artists will receive housing, most meals, exclusive studio access, and use of the library, lounge, and kitchen located in a meadow along the riparian corridor of Brush Creek. Residents are responsible for all supplies and transportation to Brush Creek Ranch or Laramie Regional Airport. Application materials must include work samples formatted to CAFE standards, CV or resume, artist statement and project description, and contact information for two character references. The entry fee is $40.00. Brush Creek Foundation for the Arts is a separate non-profit program, apart from the Lodge and Spa at Brush Creek Ranch.
