2018 Spring/Summer Application for Associate Membership in Women Artists of the West

WAOW, Inc. is accepting applications for Associate Membership from women artists who reside across the United States, Canada, and Australia. WAOW accepts work in traditional media and sculpture only. Photography, digital art, quilting, woodwork, found art sculpture, computer art, jewelry, glass, mosaic, and fabric art are not accepted. Associate members are required to have a website displaying their artwork and must have and use email, as it is the primary means of communication within the membership.

Associate members are encouraged to show their work in a WAOW-sanctioned advertisement, such as a group advertisement created in conjunction with the annual show or other WAOW group show, or a personal advertisement that mentions WAOW Associate Membership at least once every two years. All advertisements must be placed in a nationally distributed art-related publication, and proof of participation must be sent to the Advertising Director. Note that advertising is a requirement for advancing to Signature and Master status.

The entry fee is $35.00. Applicants must submit 6 images via the CaFE website. The entry deadline is June 30, 2018 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Applicants will be notified by email no later than July 16, 2018. A confirmation number is required to verify application completion. Membership begins with payment of dues.
