2018 Regional Fine Art Show

Lincoln Gallery, sponsored by the Thompson Valley Art League, announces the 2018 Regional Fine Art Show. The exhibition is open to all regional artists working in six categories: Oil, Watercolor, Pastel/Drawing, Mixed Media & Acrylic, 3-D, and Photography. Work must be original art, not copied from published photos or works by other artists. All entries must be for sale. No installations or sets of works which must be installed individually to make one entry will be accepted. The jury reserves the right to disqualify any work which it considers to be in poor taste or inappropriate. Entries that have received cash awards from previous Lincoln Gallery or Thompson Valley Art League sponsored shows are not permitted. Entries are limited to residents of Colorado, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, and Wyoming.

The exhibition will be shown at Lincoln Gallery in Loveland, Colorado, from November 9-December 14, 2018. The Artists' Reception and Awards Presentation will be held on Friday, November 9th from 6:00-8:30 PM. Cash awards and prizes will exceed $2,000, with awards presented to the Best of Show winner plus 1st and 2nd place in each category. Artists may enter multiple categories but total entries may not exceed 6. Entry fee is $45.00 (includes up to 3 entries); additional entries are $10.00 each, maximum 6 total. Images required: minimum 3, maximum 6. All fees are non-refundable.

Flat work (including frame) shall not exceed 75 inches linear measurement and must be wired for hanging. Flat work cannot weigh more than 25 lbs. Three-dimensional art must be completed works, no more than 46 inches in any one dimension and weigh no more than 50 pounds. A 35% commission will be collected by the Lincoln Gallery on all sales. Payment for sold items will be mailed on the 20th of the month following the close of the show. Hand deliveries will be received November 2nd and 3rd from 12:00-5:30 PM. All shipped artwork must be received by November 3rd. Entries are juried October 24th-25th, with notification by email by October 26th.
