About This Call
The 2018 International Portfolio Competition is open to all photographers age 18 or older, excluding members of Soho Photo Gallery. One portfolio per photographer. Entry fee is $65.
A portfolio must contain 12-20 compositionally and technically strong images with a consistent theme or topic. Any subject matter and photographic print medium are acceptable. Ten semi-finalists will be selected based on their digital files and will be asked to submit 3 prints from their portfolios. Members of Soho Photo Gallery's Portfolio Review Committee will jury the competition. Three winning portfolios will be selected for exhibition.
Pina Zangaro, designers and manufacturers of fine presentation books, is providing customized portfolio boxes to each winning photographer. Submission deadline is January 13, 2018. Semi-finalists will be notified by January 22, 2018, and finalists by February 19, 2018.
