2018 Five Points Annex Small Works Juried Exhibition

Five Points Center for the Visual Arts announces the Five Points Annex 2019 Small Works Juried Exhibition. The exhibition runs Friday, February 1 – Saturday, February 23, 2019, at Five Points Annex Gallery, 17 Water Street, Torrington, CT 06790. The opening reception and award presentation will be held Friday, February 1, 2019, from 6:00 – 8:30 p.m.

Emerging and established artists 18 years or older may submit original works in 2-D and 3-D that have not been previously exhibited at Five Points. Up to three works per artist may be submitted for a $35.00 entry fee. Work requiring assembly or complex installation must be accompanied by detailed written instructions with reference photos. All artwork must be ready for installation and available for sale, with a 50% gallery commission on sales. Submissions are accepted only through CaFE (www.callforentry.org). The submission deadline is December 22, 2018, at 11:59 p.m. MST. Artists will be notified on January 9, 2019.

Accepted works must be delivered January 24 – 27, 2019, between 1:00 – 5:00 p.m., or shipped to arrive by January 23, 2019. Shipped works must include a prepaid return shipment label. All work should be labeled with the artist's name, telephone number, title, date, medium, and dimensions. Work pickup is February 24, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The juror is Brigid Kennedy. The award is a 2019 solo exhibition at Five Points Gallery, 33 Main Street, Torrington, CT 06790.
