2018 Evendale Fine Arts Exhibit

The Village of Evendale Cultural Arts Center & Recreation Department invites artists to submit work for the 2018 Evendale Fine Arts Exhibit, held May 4-7, 2018 at the Evendale Recreation Center, 10500 Reading Rd., Cincinnati, OH. This exhibit is open to artists 21 and older living or working within a 50 mile radius of Evendale, OH. All fine art disciplines are encouraged, including paintings (oils, acrylic, watercolor, and pastels), sketches, etchings, and sculpture. Photography, digital media, painted giclee prints, and reproductions are not permitted. All artwork must be original and created entirely by the artist.

Applications are accepted January 23 – March 16, 2018 via CallforEntry.org. A maximum of five pieces can be submitted; up to three can be accepted. Entry fees are $20 for the first image and $5 for each additional image if submitted before the March 9 Early Bird deadline, or $30 for the first image and $10 for each additional image thereafter. Evendale residents who complete submission by the Early Bird deadline are free of charge and must email [email protected] for a coupon code. Digital images must be submitted for jury consideration. Artists will be notified by email on March 23, 2018. Accepted artwork must be hand-delivered during scheduled times (May 1-2).

Accepted artwork must be appropriately framed or museum-wrapped canvas, wired for hanging, and weigh less than 20 pounds with maximum dimensions of 36 x 36 inches without special approval. Watercolors larger than 16 x 20 must be framed with plexiglass. Labels must be securely attached to the back or bottom with artist's name, title, medium, price, and email address. Awards include Best in Show ($500 and one-person show), 2nd Place ($350), 3rd Place ($200), and three Honorable Mention awards ($50 each).
