2017 Wood River Valley Studio Tour

Working artists are invited to participate in the Wood River Valley Studio Tour. Participating artists must maintain or share a working art studio located within the Wood River Valley, Idaho, and commit to opening their studios during the tour dates and hours to welcome art patrons, admirers, and collectors. Accepted artists are expected to have completed a body of work representing a cohesive, visual art form with professional execution. Visual arts include ceramics, drawing, painting, sculpture, textile, printmaking, photography, video, and filmmaking. Artists with questions about the suitability of their art form are encouraged to contact the organization.

The entry fee is $250 when completed between April 18th and 28th. All registration fees are non-refundable. Applicants must submit 5 images of their work. Artists are required to donate a piece of artwork for the Mosaic Project, an 8x8" panel upon which an original work may be created and incorporated into a mosaic installation. Completed Mosaic artwork must be delivered by June 1st. The Mosaic Project will be publicly displayed July 1st-9th, and viewers will be invited to purchase panels. All sales from donated panels benefit Wood River Valley Studio Tour, Inc. Unsold panels remain the property of the organization for sale at a later date.

Each artist will be invited to display one work of art in a Group Exhibition running August 15th-20th. Artists are responsible for delivery of artwork on Sunday, August 13th and pickup on Monday, August 21st. Space limitations will dictate allowable dimensions for inclusion in the exhibition. Wood River Valley Studio Tour, Inc. receives no commission or percentage of studio sales.
