2017 - TiNY MONSTERS

TiNY MONSTERS is a national, juried art exhibition at FEgallery in Sacramento, CA. The show celebrates monster-themed art in tribute to creatures both mythical and imagined. Only monster art 12"x10" and 10"x10" or smaller will be accepted. The exhibition runs from August 12 through September 28, 2017, with art drop-off July 31 through August 4, 2017.

Multiple art mediums are accepted, including photography, fabric, mixed media, paintings (acrylic, oil, watercolor), drawings, ink, graphite, pastels, colored pencil, encaustic, fiber arts, and sculpture (metal, clay, wood, mixed media). Video is not accepted. No work requiring special installation or instructions will be accepted. All work must be original, completed in the last two years, ready to hang or free-standing, and available for the entire run of the show. All work must be for sale. Three-dimensional work should not exceed 12"L x 12"W x 12" diameter. Artists may submit up to 6 images; if submitting a diptych or triptych, combine as a single image. Detail shots should be combined into a split image with the full piece.

Eligibility is open to all local and national artists over 18. Entry fee is $20.00 with an additional $5.00 media fee. The application deadline is April 30, 2017 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. A $500.00 Best in Show award will be presented. Art will be selected by jury due to limited gallery space.
