2017 SPAS Student Honors Show

The School of Photographic Arts and Sciences invites all undergraduate and graduate students to submit up to two pieces of creative work created for any photo school course since June 1, 2016 for the 2017 Student Honors Show. Faculty will jury entries electronically using the Call For Entry (CaFE) website.

Submissions may include images (JPEG format, minimum 1920 pixels on longest side, 72 ppi, 5MB maximum, RGB sRGB color space), series (two to three related images in a single file), books (JPEG of title/cover page with watermark, plus physical copy to be dropped off), or videos (hosted on Vimeo or YouTube with JPEG title image uploaded). Up to two work samples total may be submitted. Work produced by a team of students may be entered if other photo students are part of the production team and the work was made for a photo course.

Selected winners will receive one of 20 Purchase Prizes. The traditional Purchase Prize amount is $150, though amounts may vary. Winners will be announced at the opening of the Student Honors Show on Thursday, May 11. Accepted entries will be notified via email on April 17, with printed pieces due for display on April 24th. All selected photographs must be mounted or framed unless an appropriate reason is given to install the work differently in the William Harris Gallery.
