2017 Regional Fine Art Show

Lincoln Gallery in Loveland, Colorado, in conjunction with the Thompson Valley Art League, announces the 2017 Regional Fine Art Show. The exhibition is open to all regional artists working in the following categories: Oil, Watercolor/Acrylic, Pastel/Drawing, Mixed Media/Digital Media, 3D/Sculpture/Fiber/Glass, and Photography. Artists may enter multiple categories but total entries may not exceed 6.

Eligibility is open to artists residing in Colorado, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, or Wyoming. Work must be original art, not copied from published photos or works by other artists. All entries must be for sale. No installations or sets of works to make one entry will be accepted. Entries that have received cash awards from previous Lincoln Gallery or Thompson Valley Art League sponsored shows are not permitted. Initial jurying will be done by a committee of Thompson Valley Art League Members, with final judging and awards completed by Jeanne Mackenzie, an award-winning artist from the Fort Collins area.

The entry deadline is September 17, 2017 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. The $45 entry fee includes up to 3 entries; additional entries are $10 each, with a maximum of 6 total entries. Work samples must include a minimum of 3 images and a maximum of 6 images. Hand delivery of work will be received September 28-30 at the gallery. Shipped artwork must arrive by September 30. The exhibition runs from October 13 through November 10, 2017, with the Artists' Reception and Awards Presentation on October 13 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Cash prizes totaling $2,600 will be awarded: $500 for Best of Show, plus $250 for 1st place and $100 for 2nd place in each category. The Lincoln Gallery will collect a 35% commission on all sales. Payment for sold items will be made on the 20th of the month following the close of the show.
