2017 Newport Beach Art Exhibition

The 53rd Annual Newport Beach Art Exhibition is a one-day exhibit open to all artists 18 years of age and older. Artists have the opportunity to show and sell their artwork to the public, with a portion of proceeds benefiting community art programs throughout the year.

The exhibition is limited to two works of art per artist. Entry fees are $30 for one entry or $40 for two entries. Works must be original artwork created within the last two years. Photography must be signed and numbered. School work, instructor-supervised pieces, and reproductions are not accepted. All two-dimensional artwork must be framed, with a size limit of 36" wide x 48" high including frame. Three-dimensional works must be 30 lbs. or less. All artwork must be for sale, with a 20% donation to the Newport Beach Arts Foundation accepted on sales.

Awards are offered in multiple categories: Painting (Oils & Acrylics), Painting (Watercolors, Ink, Pencil and Charcoal), Photography, and 3D Art. First place awards are $300, second place $200, third place $100 in each category. Additional awards include Juror's Choice ($100) and People's Choice ($100). Artist delivery is Friday, June 16, 3:00-6:00 p.m. and Saturday, June 17, 9:00-10:30 a.m. The exhibition runs Saturday, June 17, 1:00-6:00 p.m., with an awards reception at 4:30 p.m. Artists must retrieve their artwork at 6:00 p.m. on June 17. Delivery and retrieval must be done in person or by a designated representative; shipped artwork cannot be accepted.
