2017 - mon-o-chrome

Las Laguna Gallery is seeking art that explores the range of tones and values of a single color. The exhibition theme is monochrome, which traditionally refers to black and white or grayscale, but may also include other combinations containing only tones of a single color, such as green-and-white, green-and-black, sepia, or cyanotype (blueprint) images.

All local, national, and international artists—professional and amateur—working in all mediums are eligible. Accepted mediums include acrylic, airbrush, assemblage, charcoal, color pencil, collage, digital art, drawings, encaustic, fiber arts, graphite, illustration, mixed media, new media, oil, painting, pastel, photography (traditional and digital), printmaking, and watercolor. There is no size limitation, though works over 60 inches are not recommended due to shipping costs.

Entry fee is $35.00, with an additional $2.00 per image. Submit 1-10 images. Artist notification is May 5, 2017. Art delivery dates are May 25-30, 2017. The exhibition runs June 1-30, 2017. Gallery split is 75% artist, 25% gallery.
