2017 Loveland National Fine Art Show

The Thompson Valley Art League, in conjunction with Lincoln Gallery, presents the 2017 Loveland National Fine Art Show. The exhibition is open to all artists working in six categories: Oil and Acrylic, Watercolor, Pastels/Graphite/Pencil/Ink, Mixed Media/Encaustic/Scratch Board/Fiber, 3-D works (Metal/Ceramic/Stone/Glass/Assemblage/Wood/Leather), and Photography. Work must be original art, not copied from published photos or works by other artists. No installations or sets of works to make one entry will be accepted. Entries that have received a cash award from previous TVAL sponsored shows are not permitted.

Entry deadline is February 28, 2017 at 11:59 p.m. MST. The entry fee is $45.00 (includes 3 images); additional images cost $10.00 each (maximum 6 total). Entries are submitted online through CaFE only. Entries will be juried March 2-6, and artists will be notified by email by March 10, 2017. Hand delivery of work is accepted March 15-18, 2017, and shipped artwork must arrive by March 18, 2017. The exhibition opens March 31 at Lincoln Gallery, 29 North Lincoln Avenue, Loveland, CO 80537, with an Artists' Reception and Awards Presentation on April 14, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. The show runs through April 29, 2017.

Cash awards total over $2,200, including a $500 Best of Show award and $250 for First Place in each category. Honorable Mention winners receive a coupon code for a free entry to the next competition. All works must be for sale. TVAL charges a 35% commission on all sales, with payment made within two weeks after the show closes.
