2017 Juried Fine Arts Exhibition

The 2017 Juried Fine Arts Exhibition is dedicated to 2D and relief work that can be exhibited on walls. The exhibition will be presented in the Bonfield Gallery from October 21, 2017 through January 6, 2018. The opening reception, open to CTAC members, exhibiting artists, and their guests, will be held on Saturday, October 21, from 2-4 pm, with awards announced at the opening. The juror is artist and teacher Patrick Wise.

Eligibility is open to residents of Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, and Ontario, as well as members of the Crooked Tree Arts Center. Applicants must be 18 years or older and working in 2D and relief media. Each artist may submit a maximum of two images. The entry fee is $40.00 per artist ($20.00 for current CTAC members). All work must be original, properly framed and wired or ready for hanging, and must not have been previously exhibited at Crooked Tree Arts Center. All accepted artwork must be for sale.

Cash awards are: 1st Place $1,000, 2nd Place $500, 3rd Place $250. Accepted work must be delivered between October 4-11, 2017 during posted gallery hours. Notification of acceptance will be sent by email no later than September 3, 2017. Work must be picked up between January 8-13, 2018 during posted gallery hours. Crooked Tree Arts Center will retain a 40% commission on any work sold; the artist receives 60% of the retail price. Payment for sales will be made on the 10th of the month following the exhibition's deinstallation.
