2017 Gallery Roster & Exhibition Opportunity | Dab Art

Dab Art will review proposals for 2017 and 2018 group exhibitions at H Gallery. Artists chosen for these group exhibitions will be further evaluated and considered for roster selections. Early applications are encouraged as exhibition considerations will be made prior to the deadlines.

Dab Art specializes in curating progressive exhibitions focusing on contemporary artists, while promoting a wide spectrum of genres and mediums in solo, group and juried exhibitions. H Gallery is a 10,000 square foot vintage building nestled between Malibu and Santa Barbara, completely dedicated to the arts. Exhibition lengths will vary from 8 to 10 weeks. Featured artists are invited and encouraged to personally attend receptions. A selected few will be invited for a recorded artist interview and/or panel discussion about their exhibit.

Accepted artwork includes painting, printmaking, sculpture, glass, fiber, functional, digital, photography, installation, mixed media and new genres. All work must be original, unsold work, and the artist must own the sole copyright. Frames, mats and wiring must be professional quality and in good condition. 2D artwork selected for exhibition must be ready to hang. Artists are responsible for round-trip shipping and insurance of artworks. All shipments must include a prepaid UPS or FED EX return label and be shipped in a container suitable for reuse. Dab Art retains a 35% commission on all exhibition and website sales. Payment to artists will be provided within 60 days after the exhibit concludes and receipt of full payment from the buyer. Applications are reviewed at the end of each month and notifications are sent via email. An optional 15-minute phone consultation is available for $50.00. Entry fee is $35.00, with an additional $5.00 media fee for each image beyond the first three. Submit 3-15 images of your work.
