2017 CAC Annual Juried Membership Exhibition

Creative Arts Center of Dallas is accepting submissions for the 2017 Annual Juried Membership Exhibition. CAC members are invited to submit up to three images of original 2D or 3D artworks created within the last two years for consideration. The juried panel will evaluate work in all mediums. Submission deadline is Friday, July 10th at 11:59 p.m. MDT. The entry fee is $45 for a maximum of three images per artist.

Eligibility: All persons with memberships valid through July 2017 are eligible to submit. Entrants must be or become members of the Creative Arts Center of Dallas before submission. A One Year Individual Membership is $45 or $35 for Seniors, Educators, Students and Veterans. Artwork must be original works produced within 24 months prior to the exhibition and must not have been previously shown in any CAC related exhibitions.

Artists will be notified via email no later than Friday, July 21st if their artwork has been accepted. Accepted artwork must be delivered to Mary Tomás Gallery (1110 Dragon St., Dallas, Texas 75207) Wednesday, July 26th through Friday, July 28th between 11 am – 5:00 pm. The opening reception is Saturday, August 5th from 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm. The exhibition ends September 2nd. Artwork may be picked up Monday, September 4th and Tuesday, September 5th from 11 am – 5 pm. A $25 storage fee per day will be charged for artwork retrieved after September 5th. The gallery retains a 30% commission on all artwork sold during the exhibition.
