2017 Annual Contemporary Art Survey (ACAS)

The Fort Collins Lincoln Center invites visual artists residing in the US to enter the 2017 Annual Contemporary Art Survey, a national juried exhibition with Guest Curator Zoe Larkins, Associate Curator for the Museum of Contemporary Art, Denver. The exhibition is an open call to artists working in all media and reflects the artists' capacity to consider the wide world of issues, objects, imagery and ideas they encounter in creating art. Representational, abstract and conceptual work will be considered.

Entry Fee: $35.00 for up to three different artworks per artist in any combination of media, including small installations (up to 12'h x 6'w x 6'd) and video. Work samples may include up to 6 images and 3 videos, with a minimum of 1 total sample and maximum of 6 total samples. Each image must reflect one artwork; additional views are encouraged for 3-D and installations. Three-dimensional and installation entries may include one alternate view per entry. Artists 18 years and older whose primary residence is in the United States and working in any media may apply. Entries must be of the artist's original design and not a result of a class assignment, completed in the past two years since April 2015. Artworks submitted from previous Lincoln Center calls for entry will not be sent to the Juror.

Awards: $1,750 in cash prizes will be awarded (Grand Prize: $1,000, Second Place: $500, Third Place: $250). Notification to artists: March 17, 2017. Exhibition Dates: May 9-June 24, 2017. Reception & Awards Presentation: Friday, May 12, 2017, 5:00-7:00 p.m. Delivery of artwork: Shipped artworks to arrive April 24-28, 2017; hand deliveries can be made Monday, May 1, 1-5 p.m. Return of artwork: Shipped from Lincoln Center by Thursday, June 29, 2017. Artists are responsible for round-trip shipping. Lincoln Center will insure artworks for their insurance value or retail value while on the premises. Lincoln Center will retain a 30% commission on all sales made as a result of the exhibition.
