2017-2018 FWS Non-Signature Member Online Show

This is an online exhibition for FWS Non-Signature Members and new members who join or renew by October 31st, 2017. Eligible artwork is limited to water soluble media (no water soluble oil products, charcoal, or pastels) on surfaces created for watermedia, including paper, clay coated surfaces (Clayboard, Aquabord), synthetic surfaces (Yupo, Tygerag, Terraskin), illustration board, and flat, unstretched watercolor canvas. Collage is acceptable if made from paper painted by the artist in water media. Photographs, reproductions, digital media, and digitally created work are not permitted.

Source material must be original and not derived from published images. All entries must have been completed after January 1, 2015 and not previously shown in any FWS Annual or Online Exhibitions. Work accepted into this show is not eligible for submission into other FWS shows. There are no framing restrictions.

Eligible members may submit up to three images for jurying. The entry fee is $15 per image, payable online through CaFE. Entries are accepted from October 21st through 11:59 p.m. MST on December 2nd, 2017. Judge Bev Jozwiak will select up to 100 images to show, with no more than one entry per artist accepted. Awards include $1,000 for First Place, $500 for Second Place, $300 for Third Place, and three Merit Awards of $100 each. Award winners will have the opportunity to show their original work in the FWS Booth at the 47th Annual Convention & Trade Show in Sarasota, FL in September 2018. Submitting artists will be notified of acceptance via email around the end of the year, and full membership notification of the online show will be sent around January 17th, 2018.
