2017-2018 Boerne Art al Fresco Public Art Competition

Professional public artists are invited by the City of Boerne to submit an application to participate in the 2017-2018 Boerne Art al Fresco Public Art Competition. This is a national call for entry. Art al Fresco is an outdoor temporary exhibit of public art and an "art on loan" program which incorporates a variety of styles and materials.

A $30,000 budget has been allocated to purchase one or more pieces at the end of the competition. There is a $1,500 stipend for exhibiting artists to help defer delivery, installation, and de-installation costs. Applicants may submit up to 3 applications with 1-5 images per application. Applications must be submitted via publicartist.org or CaFE and will not be accepted by postal mail, email, or other means of delivery. The deadline is January 15, 2017 by midnight Central Time.
