2016 Slo Motion Arts Las Vegas Open Juried Exhibition at UV Gallery

Slo-Motion Arts presents the 2016 Las Vegas Open at UV Gallery, a juried exhibition of contemporary 2D and 3D art. The exhibition will be held in UV Gallery's spacious 2,000+ square feet of exhibition space, featuring a three-week display of selected artworks.

The jury panel will select individual 2D and 3D pieces based on technical application, originality, and impact. Accepted mediums include painting, printmaking, drawing, sculpture, photography, and digital art. All genres are welcome. Cash awards will be given for Best in Show, Runner Up, and Honorable Mention. Entry fee is $35.00 for 3 entries, with an additional $5.00 per entry for more than 3 images. Submissions must include 3-5 images. All artwork must be ready to hang with wire; sculpture must include all necessary mounting and support such as pedestals.

Artists are responsible for round-trip shipping and insurance. Artwork must be shipped in containers appropriate for reuse, with a prepaid UPS or FedEx return label (no USPS). No packing peanuts are permitted. International artists are responsible for all international fees. Selected artwork must be listed for sale, with UV Gallery retaining 30% commission. Important dates: Application deadline September 17, 2016 at 11:59 p.m. MDT; artist notification September 21, 2016; artwork delivery deadline October 3, 2016; opening reception October 6, 2016; exhibition closes October 28, 2016.
