About This Call
The Savage Arts Council presents the seventh annual Scott County Art Crawl on Saturday, October 8, 2016 from 10AM–4PM in Savage, MN. The indoor event features more than 30 artist booths displaying and selling original paintings, photography, sculpture, jewelry, glass art and more across three locations. Artists in Scott County with a studio will be included on printed crawl materials.
Eligibility and Requirements: Fine art and fine craft artists featuring original handmade artwork are invited to apply. Artists living and/or working in Scott County have priority; artists outside Scott County are accepted based on space availability. Artwork should demonstrate the artist's ability to create one-of-a-kind pieces. Artists must be in attendance at their booth for setup, display, sales, and tax collection. Submit 2 JPEG images at 72 ppi resolution, 1920 pixels on the longest side, under 2MB. One image will be selected for marketing materials and social media.
Fees and Details: Entry fee is $60 for nonmembers (includes one-year Savage Arts Council membership valued at $20) or $40 for members before July 1; after July 1, fees are $75 for nonmembers or $55 for members. Grid rental is $20 per 10'x10' booth. ELC location has a $15 upcharge for the first 10 applicants. All fees are due by August 1, 2016. Check-in is Friday, October 7 from 1–4PM at the Savage Arts and Cultural Center (east door of Savage Public Library). Artists receive water at their booth, a box lunch, easy load/unload access, promotion on social media and web pages, and are invited to a post-show wine reception and dinner with artist networking. A people's choice award drawing includes a free booth for 2017.
