2016 Regional Fine Art Show

The 2016 Regional Fine Art Show is open to artists working in painting, drawing, photography, and three-dimensional media who reside in Colorado and surrounding or bordering states. Work must be original art, not copied from published photos or works by other artists. No installations or sets of works to make one entry will be accepted. Entries that have received a cash award from previous TVAL sponsored shows are not permitted.

Accepted categories include: Oil Painting; Acrylic, Watercolor, Tempera, Casein, Gouache, Mixed Media, Collage, and Mono-Prints; Pastel, Oil Pastel, Graphite, Charcoal, Pen/Ink, and Colored Pencil; Photography (including digital manipulation from original images, but not computer graphic work); and Three Dimensional work including Bas Relief, Ceramics, Sculpture, Glasswork, and Jewelry. Artists may enter multiple categories. Entry fee is $45 for up to 3 entries, with additional entries at $10 each (maximum 6 total). Entries must be submitted online through CaFE by midnight May 20, 2016. Judging occurs May 24-26, with artist notification by email on May 28.

Hand delivery of accepted work is June 1-3 at Lincoln Gallery, 429 North Lincoln Avenue, Loveland, CO 80537. Shipped work must arrive by June 3. Flat work shall not exceed 42 inches on any side and must be wired for hanging. Three-dimensional art must not exceed 46 inches in any dimension and weigh no more than 90 pounds. All works must be for sale. A 35% commission is charged on sales, with payment made within two weeks after the show closes. Awards include a $500 Best of Show Award and $300 Awards of Excellence for each category. The Opening Reception is June 10 at 6:30 pm, with the show closing June 30. Unsold artwork must be removed by 4 pm on July 2.
