2016 Photography, Ceramic and Sculpture Exhibit

The 2016 Overland Park Art at the Center Photography, Ceramic and Sculpture Exhibition runs October 11 through November 20, 2016. This exhibit features all manner of photography including digitally altered photography. Entry fee is $10 for 2 images. Submissions must include 1-3 images.

Awards are sponsored by the Friends of Overland Park Arts: Best of Show - $300, Second Place - $150, and four $25 Honorable Mention Awards. All work submitted must be for sale. A 25% gallery commission and sales taxes apply. Artists will receive proper attribution in the gallery based on information provided in the application. All accounts will be settled within 30 days of the conclusion of the exhibition.

Art at the Center is a not-for-profit gallery space offering local, regional and national artists, both professional and amateur, an opportunity to showcase their work. All art is for sale unless otherwise noted. The gallery is located at Tomahawk Ridge Community Center, 11902 Lowell Ave. (119th & Lowell). Gallery hours: Mon.-Fri. 5:30 a.m.-10 p.m.; Sat. 7 a.m.-8 p.m.; Sun. 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Closed Independence Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Admission is free. Local delivery only; no shipped works accepted. Artwork must be received ready to display and must not differ significantly from the submitted image. Framed art must weigh no more than 30 lbs. Hanging wire must be at least 100# weight (#3 wire). Strip framing and saw tooth hangers are forbidden. Stretched canvas may be unframed only if sides are painted (gallery wrap). The City of Overland Park will not assume liability for loss or damage associated with shipping but does insure the exhibition against loss and damage. Artists have 10 days to submit a written claim and three bids for repair.
